Belong - Together We’re Different
The campaign asks the question, Do we have to be the same to belong? The answer, as shown in its three films, is a very clear, no. Belong pairs very different people but separates them with a screen. They are given questions that foster conversations between them. Of course, feelings of togetherness grow as they find things they have in common. Things that a butcher has in common with a vegetarian, an 81-year-old woman has with a 28-year-old, a drag queen performer has with a bloke who’s ex-army. The film’s conclusion is that taking the time to connect and embrace our differences is what unites us.
